Box Cricket

Box Cricket

We have worked extensively with primary school teachers and coaches to develop Box Cricket, a striking and fielding teaching resource that allows you to teach cricket in a SAFE, SIMPLE and FUN way.

Children are responsible for managing and setting up the game. The resource helps develop leadership skills, promotes co-operation and independent learning. The Box Cricket system engages all pupils in the class throughout the session.

Why choose Box Cricket?

  • Perfect for Continual Professional Development
  • No need for any prior experience or knowledge of cricket
  • Develop an understanding of the set-up, organisation and rules in less than 20 minutes using our demonstration footage (contained on a USB stick)
  • Promotes independent learning, develops communication, teamwork and leadership as well as physical skills
  • Encourages 100% engagement throughout the lesson

Box Cricket includes:

Nine short chapters demonstrating the set-up and organisation of Box Cricket for each year group. There are also useful chapters explaining how to adapt the game for the playground, and differentiations to keep every single child involved.
